Can I use a Drone at Machu Picchu?

Drones are prohibited inside Machu Picchu. You can use Drones in the City of Cusco, in the town of Aguas Calientes and in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

However, there are two Mountains that overlook Machu Picchu and provide Panoramic views across the site. These are Huayna Picchu and Apu Machu Picchu. The image attached to this post is the view from Huayna Picchu. The mountain directly in front of you in the photo, is Apu Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu lies between these two peaks.

Access to climb Apu Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu is limited to a small number of tickets each day. These tickets tend to sell out some 4 - 6 weeks in advance, depending on season. Please ask your travel consultant for details.
